Human Resources Manager

Location: El Paso, TX (Preferred) or Remote

  • Job Type: Full-time
  • Experience Needed: Payroll – 5 Years (Required); Benefits Administration – 5 Years (Required)
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (Required)

We are in search of a Human Resource Manager with a strong background in all aspects of human resources, including recruitment, employee relations, performance management, and legal compliance. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, an effective communicator, and a skilled problem-solver.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all payroll functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of payroll transactions including salaries, benefits, garnishments, taxes, and other deductions.
  • Administer employee benefits programs such as retirement plans; medical, dental, vision plans; life insurance plans; temporary disability programs; and wellness programs.
  • Ensure that all payroll and benefits processes comply with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Resolve issues and answer payroll and benefits-related inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the HR team to integrate payroll with other HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and employee development.
  • Prepare relevant weekly, monthly, quarterly and year-end reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits management.
  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or similar certification is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge of payroll systems, benefits administration, and federal and state regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on customer service.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and confidentiality.

This role involves managing all aspects of payroll processing and benefits administration, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, while maintaining employee satisfaction.
